Head straight for the rotisserie of the day, served with a Cypriot grain salad and beetroot tzatziki. This is where you can launch yourself into some mouthwatering meat, cooked to perfection, with some ever so subtle Greek flavours (lemon juice, garlic, oregano) permeating throughout. Chef George Calombaris may have taken his divine souvlaki off the menu (it now permanently lives at sister restaurant Hellenic Republic), but this posh spit roast makes for a perfectly fine substitute. There’s beaut selection of old and rare wines available by the glass, due to Little Press’ enomatic and Le Verre de Vin systems.
Little Press puts on a brilliant spread for brekkie, so it’s great if you’re Hungover and Hungry. Little Press is also suitable for Lovely Lunch, Posh Nosh or Bars with Benefits (it really fits under all categories).
Must try: The taramosalata with chips, the pork hock with fresh pita bread and grilled zucchini and the rotisserie of the day
How much? Little snacks $4.5-$26; kyria and rotisserie $26-$36
